Rotterdam

I had been thinking about the rarity of postcards that commemorate a natural or man made disaster, rather, postcards highlight splendid views of a particular place. So here, colourful Rotterdam is populated with injured and bandaged figures. A wounded woman is carried across the river, a baby is comforted in a shopping precinct, a nurse tends a figure sprawling in a field of tulips, aftermaths of an unspecified incident. An 8 view letter card collaged with black and white figures from first aid manuals.
