Magyar Deptford Kollazsok
I found a smallish scrapbook in a house clearance shop and didn’t recognise the language of the articles and handwriting on its pages – this turned out to be Hungarian. I was intrigued as to who had kept it. When I showed it to a Hungarian friend, they reckoned the scrapbook had been kept by a mother of a child, sometime during the 1980’s. Over a period of a year I collaged images from the scrapbook with images from a range of book sources. The resulting book was made by printing its pages double sided on a single sheet of A3 paper folded down to A6 size.
